Our Focus
BE Upstream is a specialized division within the group, dedicated to the exploration and production segment of the oil and gas industry. As the upstream arm, we advance projects that align with the overarching vision of uniting yesterday's fuel sources with today's sustainable future. Our focus is on integrating traditional oil and gas operations with innovative, environmentally conscious practice. We operate with a clear understanding that oil and gas remain a vital component of the global energy mix. We are equally aware of the environmental challenges that come with upstream activity. So the mission is to optimize upstream processes to minimize environmental impact while maintaining the efficiency and profitability that competitive energy markets demand. Our expertise is in identifying and developing projects that are technically sound and also socially and environmentally responsible. We use advanced exploration techniques, including seismic surveys and geological modeling, to locate hydrocarbon reserves with the greatest potential for sustainable development. We are also early in implementing technologies that reduce the environmental footprint of upstream operations, particularly methane capture and flare reduction. We hold to the highest standards of safety, environmental stewardship, and community engagement. Our operations can have significant impacts on local communities and ecosystems, and we manage those impacts deliberately rather than incidentally.

That reach supports a diverse portfolio, from conventional onshore and offshore drilling to unconventional resource plays. Assets and Services
BE Upstream owns and operates assets designed for near-complete molecule utilization. We develop energy parks, integrate advanced refining with CO2 capture, and apply lower-emission processes to traditional production, so a conventional asset can run cleaner without giving up output. The Colorado Energy Park turns waste CO2 into clean, renewable methane. The Berbice Green Refinery, designed to process 30,000 barrels a day of Liza crude, is set to be one of the cleanest refineries in the world, converting nearly all of the raw crude into transportation fuels while capturing CO2. Different assets, one principle: waste is value in the wrong place.
